About Qutub Minar
Qutab minar is one of the most important historical monuments in India. This precious monument is known for world’s tallest brick minaret. It is located in Delhi which is the capital of India. This minar is listed in UNESCO world heritage. This beautiful building is also famous as one of the tallest tower in the world with a height of 237.8ft.construction of this tower is done in 12th century by Qutb-ud-din Aibak and was made of beautiful red sandstones. Qutub minar was the most visited monument of India in 2006 with 38.95 lakh visitors which was surrounded by ancient and medieval monuments which includes ancient tombs and mosque. This historical monument attracts large number of tourists from all around the world. It is the highest stone tower in India with a base diameter of 14.3mtrs and top diameter of 2.7 mtrs.It has got 379 steps leading to its top story. Best season to visit Qutub minar is from October to March
